Leading the Way ininternational logistics
Caribbean Freight, provides mostly import transportation services to Jamaican businesses and export to Caricom countries, act as the local agent for International freight forwarders and customs brokers including world leading freight consolidators and non-vessel operating common carrier. The operations typically comprise sales, consolidation, pick up, delivery and transport of the containers from gateway ports.
The NVOCC receives goods from shippers and consolidates them, negotiates for space with carriers to place and transport those goods to destinations in Jamaica for imports, collaborating with all carriers for the island.
Caribbean Freight Jamaica operations handle all document processing and services related to entry to Jamaica of containerized goods, they are renowned in international logistics, have high level of commitment to customers through leading quality service, customer dedication, efficient operation and cost management and a member of the international trade council, FIATA, JCTrans, WWPC network, JMEA, The Freight Forwarders Association of Jamaica and other trade associations.
The local office provides LCL (less than container load) and FCL (full container load) services and airfreight, a one-stop-shop making it easy for importers to gain efficiency, go beyond traditional markets in the Caribbean and United States to markets further afield like the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Caribbean Freight relies on ICT to help it achieve tremendous productivity and efficiency gains as it serves the entire island nation of Jamaica and now offers the ability to transport LCL cargo from anywhere in the world, provided the flexibility and options to import goods from around the globe and can offer such an absolute global reach due to a network of 54 partners offices in 40 countries.
